Event: Sharon Lynne Wilson's 10th Annual Literary Luncheon

Nearly 200 people attended the 10th Annual Literary Lunch Oct. 12 at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center. The event raised more than $40,000, which will be used for the center’s mission of expanding, inspiring, and delivering a lifetime of arts education and experiences.

Included in the program was a marketplace with vendors Somnvie, Beauty Counter, Big Cock Candles, Ritika Scarves, Black Sheep Pajamas, Books & Company and Faye’s. Each offered the Wilson Center a percentage of their sales.

Presenter Carrie Matteson, owner of Fiber-Seal, shared her story of being raised in a family of strong women role models, and how they instilled in her a passion for the performing arts. Presenting Sponsor, Faye Wetzel of Faye’s provided a fall fashion forecast. And one unexpected highlight of the luncheon was a rare October tornado warning!
