CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event support the organizationís mission to strengthen women and girls around the world, reduce their vulnerabilities, and eradicate human trafficking through education, awareness, advocacy and prevention.

Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse

EVENT: The Wisconsin Breast Cancer Showhouse Inc. hosted its preview party at this yearís Showhouse for a Cure, located on N. Prospect Avenue.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event supported early-stage breast and prostate cancer research at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
PROCEEDS: $87,000 was raised at this yearís preview party through tickets, tables, sponsorships, live and silent auctions and a raffle.

The Big Event 2018

EVENT: The Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts hosted The Big Event at the Wilson Center.
CAUSE: All proceeds raised at the event benefited the centerís arts education programs, which serve 10,000 students from southeast Wisconsin every year.
PROCEEDS: $300,000 was raised through sponsorships, a Kendra Scott jewelry bar, auctions, raise the paddle and online donations.

Black-n-Blue Ball 2018

EVENT: Muscular Dystrophy Association hosted the Black-n-Blue Ball at the Wisconsin Center.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event benefited muscle disease research and programs for local families such as care centers, summer camps and support groups.
PROCEEDS: A motorcycle raffle, auctions, attractions and sponsorships raised more than $1.2 million.

EVENT: SecureFutures, formerly Make a Difference Wisconsin, hosted its 10th annual Investment Conference at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
CAUSE: Proceeds from the event benefited the foundationís mission to provide financial education and coaching to prepare teens for a strong financial future.
PROCEEDS: This yearís event garnered $350,000.

Youth Frontiers

EVENT: Youth Frontiers hosted its third annual Ethical Leadership Luncheon at the Pfister Hotel.
CAUSE: The event funded the nonprofitís character development retreats in Wisconsin schools.
PROCEEDS: The event raised more than $45,000 thanks to 15 corporate sponsors, seven nonprofit sponsors and the generous guests at the event.
