MIAD Annual Fundraiser

EVENT: The Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) hosted its 12th annual Creative Fusion FUNdraiser at MIAD.
CAUSE: Proceeds from the event supported the 98 percent of MIAD students who receive financial aid, including 44 percent of first-year students who are the first in their family to attend college.
PROCEEDS: The event raised $415,000 through sponsorships, a scholarship bid, sales of student art and design work and Buy It Now and live auctions.

WOCA Survivors Brunch

EVENT: The Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance hosted its Survivors Brunch at the Wisconsin Club to honor ovarian cancer survivors as well as caregiver and medical professionals in the ovarian cancer community.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised support WOCA’s mission of education, support and funding research for ovarian cancer throughout Wisconsin.

G9 Golden Celebration

EVENT: Gold in September (G9) hosted its Golden Celebration at the Northwestern Mutual Tower and Commons. The organization is a national charity that supports children battling cancer.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event supported G9’s efforts to fund early phase trials and bring the most advanced and promising treatment to children battling cancer.
PROCEEDS: The event garnered $325,000 through an appeal and sponsorships.

Dream Big Dinner 2018

EVENT: College Possible held its annual Dream Big Dinner at the UW-Milwaukee ballroom.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised benefited the organization’s mission to make college admission and success possible for low-income Milwaukee students.
PROCEEDS: A live “Raise the Pennant” auction garnered $186,000.

Crafts and Drafts, an annual beer fest and fundraiser sponsored by Discount Liquor, took place at Serb Hall. Proceeds benefited the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance, an organization committed to providing education, support and research funding for ovarian cancer throughout Wisconsin.

Tree of Giving Gala 2018

EVENT: The Elm Grove Junior Guild hosted its 52 annual Tree of Giving Gala at Black Swan MKE.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event benefited grant programs and local nonprofits associated with Elm Grove Junior Guild, an organization of women dedicated to promoting the well-being of women and children in need.
PROCEEDS: A live and silent auction, raffles, sponsorships and a Kendra Scott jewelry pull garnered $50,000.

Nicole Miller for Make-a-Wish

EVENT: Faye’s hosted international fashion designer Nicole Miller at a Kilbourn Tower private residence.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event – which included a personal shopping experience, a debut of the spring collection, and meeting Nicole Miller – benefited the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
PROCEEDS: A total of $10,000 was raised, including the generosity of the host, Peggy Ann.
