EVENT: Prevent Blindness Wisconsin hosted its Celebrity Waiters Dinner, “Celebrating 60 Years of Saving Sight,” at the Italian Community Center.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event provide certified vision screenings to more than 250,000 children throughout the state annually.
PROCEEDS: This year’s event broke records, garnering $155,000 through a wine pull, winner’s choice raffle, and silent, live and paddle auctions.
Lutheran Home held an opening reception for its
sixth annual Intergenerational Art Show. For this
year’s show, children from the Lutheran Home’s
Children’s Center and senior residents from skilled
nursing, memory care and adult day services
teamed up for intergenerational activities and art.
Together they created works of art that are put on
display and then sold to the public.

The American Cancer Society recently held
its annual fundraiser at the Hilton Milwaukee
City Center. Attendees enjoyed a silent auction
and tasting stations from some of the city’s
best restaurants, plus thoughts from featured
keynote speaker Dan Jansen, an Olympic gold
medalist. Proceeds benefited cancer education,
prevention and research.

CAUSE: Funds raised at the event benefited the association in its mission of improving outcomes and quality of life for those impacted by congenital heart disease.
PROCEEDS: $125,000 was raised through live and silent auctions and an Open Your Heart Campaign.
EVENT: Ozaukee Family Services hosted its annual fall luncheon at Shully’s Watermark in Thiensville.
CAUSE: Proceeds benefited the organization’s programming, which fuels its mission to improve lives to help individuals and families succeed.
PROCEEDS: $16,000 was raised through luncheon ticket sales, raffles and sponsorships.
EVENT: Rogers Memorial Hospital Foundation hosted its annual gala, Celebrate the Light of Hope, at the Milwaukee Public Museum.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event benefited programs and free treatment for patients and families in need at Rogers Behavioral Health.
PROCEEDS: The event raised $200,000.
EVENT: Hebron House of Hospitality hosted its Eat, Drink and Be Giving Gala at The Legend at Brandybrook.
CAUSE: Proceeds from the event will provide shelter and services to help individuals and families overcome homelessness.
PROCEEDS: Raffles, silent and live auctions and donations garnered $135,000.
