More than 200 Greater Milwaukee-area business and community leaders gathered at the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts sixth annual Literary Luncheon. Proceeds support the Wilson Center’s arts education programming, which serves more than 10,000 students throughout Southeast Wisconsin every year. The event featured, a gourmet lunch, refreshments, a pop-up boutique and a local bookstore providing guests the opportunity to shop some of the hottest fall titles while supporting the arts. A percentage of the proceeds went to the Wilson Center.

EVENT: Hope Without Borders hosted its Ignite HOPE benefit at the South Shore Pavillion.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event fund the organization’s local homeless outreach project, as well as sustainable community development projects in Africa, such as water, sanitation, hygiene, education and access to medical services.
PROCEEDS: Ticket sales, raffles and silent auciton bids garnered $20,000.
EVENT: America SCORES Milwaukee hosted its Giving Tuesday at Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum.
CAUSE: Funds raised at the event benefited SCORES’ mission, which aims to ensure Milwaukee urban youth are engaged in meaningful writing, service-learning and soccer programming outside the school day.
PROCEEDS: A silent auction, that included eight original works of art created by local artists who were inspired by poems from the SCORES student poem library, and other generous donations from local businesses and sports teams helped raise money that supported the literacy portion of the SCORES program.
EVENT: The Medical College of Wisconsin hosted its annual We Care: Give Thanks Give Hope Holiday Social at a private residence.
CAUSE: Funds raised at the gala benefit the Medical College’s We Care Fund, which supports physicians and researchers in their clinical projects in fields of cancer, cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disease, organ transplantation, diseases of newborns and children, and trauma.
PROCEEDS: Individual contributions raised $50,000.
EVENT: ALIVE Inc. hosted Timeless Harmony at 88Nine Radio to celebrate the magic of youth arts in the community.
CAUSE: Funds raised from the event benefited arts programming in the city and for school-aged children, including contributing to musical instruments, arts and STEAM camps and scholarships for youth arts.
Guests were invited to join Steinhafels Furniture Superstore in Waukesha for a behind the scenes look at Steinhafels’ Decorating Solutions Interior Design Program, inspiring tabletop design demonstrations, live entertainment, gift card drawings and appetizers and refreshments.

EVENT: The Harry and Rose Samson Jewish Community Center hosted Kidshare: Milwaukee’s finest culinary event at the Pfister Hotel.
CAUSE: Proceeds benefited the JCC’s scholarship programs for early childhood education, special needs programs, JCC day camps and the Jewish Community Pantry.
