For more than 50 years, Lakefront Festival of Art has been bringing art to life on Milwaukee’s lakefront. Started in 1963, this three-day fundraising event has evolved from a gathering of a handful of artists to a vibrant, exciting and wide-ranging festival with a wide array of art, food, music and activities for the whole family. Ronald McDonald House Spring Food and Families Luncheon 2019

The Ronald McDonald House Charities held its Third Annual Food and Families Spring Luncheon at the Milwaukee Country Club. Women gathered for sips, silent auction and a scrumptious lunch followed by a short program featuring a special guest family. Funds raised at the event supported guest family stays, provide catered meals for families, as well as providing individually portioned healthy snacks. Photos by Erol Reyal

Casino Night

EVENT: All My Friends Inc. hosted its fourth annual Casino Night at Fire Ridge Golf Course.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event benefited the group’s mission to build the all-inclusive All My Friends Playground in Grafton.
PROCEEDS: Raffles and live and silent auctions raised $15,000.

Plowshare Anniversary Gala

EVENT: Plowshare hosted its 30th Anniversary Celebration: Preserving for Peace at Carroll University’s Stackner Ballroom.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised benefited the organization’s mission to “make peace relevant to the world around us” through responsible shopping and transformative edcuational experiences.
PROCEEDS: $8,976.80 was raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, a silent auction, wine pull and 30th anniversary glasses for sale.

Dim Sum + Give Sum

EVENT: Daniel Jacobs and friends hosted the Dim Sum + Give Some Gala at the Italian Community Center.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event benefited The Kennedy’s Disease Association to fund research for Kennedy’s disease, a rare genetic disease that impacts drastically patient’s mobility and their ability to speak over the course of time.

Fight Club for a Cure 2019

EVENT: Breast cancer survivor Jennifer Ott and her husband, Chris, hosted the third annual Fight Club for a Cure at Milwaukee’s Hilton City Center. CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event benefited the American Cancer Society and will provide access to care, resources and research funding for treatments for all types of cancer.
PROCEEDS: Silent and live auctions, a raffle, wine grab and Kendra Scott pop-up shop garnered $40,000.

A Toast to Teal 2019

EVENT: The Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance (WOCA) hosted its annual A Toast to Teal at The Wisconsin Club.
CAUSE: Proceeds raised at the event benefited WOCA and their mission of education, support and funding of research throughout Wisconsin.
PROCEEDS: Live and silent auctions, gift certificate tree, a wine pull and a “Swarovski Search” raised $20,000.
